Aisle #16 - Fixer-upper
The last logo iteration was horrid, simply horrid. With Jim’s instructions in mind, I fixed up the mistakes I made on the Project Accordionman logo and I’m quite pleased with the result. I managed to show him sprites while I was still replacing files on my recently formatted hard drive, and only have a few more to recover and correct before I can move on to the next set.
The little icon next to the word Hard Wayne was an element of an earlier version of the logo that Jim requested I use in this one- I disliked this element when I first drew it because it didn’t match the logo it was drawn on well, but it looks pretty nice on this version.
I’ve decided to change my major from Game Design to Programming at DCCC; this will extend my stay until the second Summer semester, but it’s a worthwhile endeavor. The Game Design classes explained Game Maker and Unreal Engine, but what I really wanted to get practice for was C++ and maybe some SQL or Perl as well, so the extra few months aren’t a hindrance.
I’m separating most of my gallery by year now, so what used to be the junk section will now be for anything that I drew up until the end of 2007. Hopefully I can manage to be more careful with my work this time around. I drew a New Year’s picture, but didn’t finish it in time to post it before the New Year became old news. I’ll probably upload that picture when I get home, but it’s nothing really special.
Apparently I forgot to post this picture on this site. It’s fanart of Contact for the DS, a game that turned out to be mediocre in the long run. Pictured is one of the game’s strongest enemies, a brown cow that can kill you in one hit.

The logo resembles the sort of minimalism of Nintendo, especially the “Hard Wayne’s”.
Also, I am still in Japan, but I am coming home tomorrow evening. My plane leaves at 5 PM Wednesday(Tokyo time) and I arrive in Philly at 7 PM the same day! Therefore, my plane ride is a mere 2 hours! Anyways, the reason I’m telling you this is because I got you a present.
LOL The cow is srsly that hard to beat? Hilarious. And yay for drawings!
So (and don’t let this jinx you) is this the longest site you’ve ever had running Chinua?
By my count, no. The longest one I had was the one before this one, but I tend to break my websites before I go anywhere with them. I don’t really do enough interesting things to justify a website, but hopefully I’ll eventually become more interesting with the passage of time.
