I’ve finally got a picture ready for this week’s update. I’ve been working on a logo for a client for a few months and I’ve come to a point where I’m pretty satisfied with the results. The client’s original vision was a bit too complex to be used in a logo that could be used on a small scale, but I managed to keep most of the elements the client wanted. I still may need to make some changes here or there, but I like what has become of this. There was more to this post before, but Firefox crashed on me and I forgot the rest of what I was saying. I’ll fix this post later when I’m less angry.

I started trying to learn to ink with traditional materials again last week. This entry may or may not come on the time I originally scheduled for it, depending on how long it takes for the ink to dry and for me to color the picture that shows up on the front page for this entry. I was running a bit late on this one – I couldn’t think of an idea that looked cool enough to have on the front page.

My first week of school for the semester has gone without incident. I’m liking the Data Structures and Algorithms class the most so far, but they’re all pretty nice so far. Most of my classes are online this term, so that gives me a lot of freedom to get my work done without having to worry about the long trips to and from the school everyday, but the classes that are on campus are scheduled for the late night hours, from 6 to 10 PM. I’ve handled that sort of schedule before, so the situation isn’t upsetting at all – the late nights are actually pretty relaxing as long as I remember to charge my Zune.
